  1. That is not part of the Terms of Service that I see. Which makes sense since every country has its own laws and needs a custom terms page. But I talked to youtube and what I wrote in my first reply is the current enforcement strategy of the youtube policy team. And without being a lawyer, the quoted part of the ToS (at least in my opinion) don't prohibit the selling of channels. But rather for examples ISPs to charge extra to access youtube. YouTube Channel != Access to the service. And just FYI, this happens a lot with bigger channels. Just some examples: Fact., Smosh, Phillip DeFranco, Roosterteeth and many more.
  2. There is no section 4d in the terms of service as found here: https://www.youtube.com/t/terms Maybe we are viewing different documents or different versions of it.
  3. buying and selling channels is not forbidden currently. Selling and buying channels for the sole purpose of circumventing the YPP review queue is however against the ToS and will be actioned by YouTube.
  4. "without any bandwidth" might be difficult. Most that offer "unlimited bandwidth" have a fair use policy in place. Some options might be Hetzner, DigitalOcean or OVH
  5. Hi there, that's a lot of restrictions you put into place. Android, No Watermark, Free to use. You could check out our Database of video editors and see if there are any available that offer a mobile app on Android. https://www.creatorshub.net/databases/creator-tools/video-editors/ I would always recommend a PC for video editing.
  6. We are happy to introduce the next major feature that will be available for CreatorsHub members - Clubs. Clubs are a brand new way of supporting sub-communities. Many people have requested social group functionality and Clubs are our implementation of this concept. There's a lot to digest there! Let's go over the basic functionality. Club Types Four types of club are available: Public clubs Clubs that anyone can see and participate in without joining. Open club Clubs that anyone can see and join. Closed club Clubs that anyone can see in the directory, but joining must be approved by a Club Leader or Club Moderator. Non-club-members who view the club will only see the member list - not the recent activity or content areas. Private club Clubs that do not show in public, and users must be invited by a Club Leader or Club Moderator Club Users Each club has three levels of user: Leader A leader has all of the permissions of a moderator, and can add other moderators. They can also add content areas (see below). The club owner is automatically a leader. Moderators Moderators, as the name implies, have the ability to moderate content posted within the club. As the site administrator, you can define which moderator tools can be used. You could, for example, prevent any content being deleted from clubs, but allow it to be hidden. Moderators can also remove members from a club. Users Anyone else that joins the club. For closed clubs, there's an approval process. Users can request to join and the request must be approved by a leader. Leaders get a notification when a user requests to join; the user gets a notification when their request is approved or denied. Club Content Club Leaders can add a variety of content areas to their club - forums, calendars and so on. Each content area a leader adds can have a custom title, and will appear in the club navigation. This means, for example, that you can have multiple forums within a club, and give each a different name. Club Locations Clubs have built-in support for Google Maps, allowing you to specify a physical location for your club. The Club Owner specifies the location when setting up the club, and clubs are then shown on map on the directory page: And within a club, the location is shown too:

Hi @LONI, welcome to the community. And thanks, its a accomplishment by everyone who is active here to make it what it is ?
  9. Hey. We try to be a hub for all content creators. Its a place to get help, tips and tricks, news or just exchange with other creators. We are also building multiple apps for creators including a free to use music database, collaboration tools, and much more.
  10. Some videos, especially videos with a lower view count uploaded in 2015 and earlier, are showing significant frame rate stuttering when watched at most Quality settings. When checking the Stats for Nerds page, all impacted videos show one of three codecs -- avc1.4d400b, avc1.4d400c, or avc1.4d4016. Videos from channels with large view counts typically use Google's VP9 codec, which is why bigger channels are not reporting this issue. Changing the quality playback for these videos to 360p changes the codec and causes them to play back correctly without stuttering. Only 360p works; even lower quality settings use the bugged codecs and continue to stutter. Temporary Workaround: These videos can be forced to permanently re-encode at all quality settings with a different codec by using the Enhancement module to save over the video (even if no changes are made). This is only a short-term workaround for your critical videos -- it doesn't work for very long videos (>5 Hours), and only 8 videos can be queued at a time for reprocessing this way. We will need YouTube's attention to address the underlying bug with these codecs. The stuttering typically gets worse as a video progresses. Check your older videos for these codecs and skip ahead to see if you detect the stuttering. If you do, for now, use the Enhancement module to re-encode your most critical impacted videos. This thread contains a detailed discussion on the issue with examples from multiple users and an Edit History as we were figuring out and isolating the problem. UPDATE: YouTube is aware of the issue and is working on a fix source: reddit.com/r/youtube
  11. Hey @fatchancegaming, happy to have you on the board. What came first, the chicken or the egg? To be discovered on youtube you need to produce watch-time on the platform for the algorithms to pick you up. But you also need to be in the recommendation system to get new viewers and produce watch-time. The only solution is to kickstart your channel with external traffic. And you need to get ride of you false pride. You DO need the help of your friends and family. The first fans of any artist or creator EVER have always been friends and family. Show your content around. Maybe invite them to join you in the videos to get them more engaged because they feel included in the channel. Also very important for the early growth of a channe is collaboration with other creators. Try to find other creators with a similar size and content and make videos with them on a regular basis. That will drive viewers from each other to the channel of the other and you will both grow. (A prime example of this is Jake and Logan Paul or the Sideman from the UK) And the last tip I got for you: be unique, do something unique. Innovate the style of content you are doing. A prime example of this is what Casey Niestet did to the vlog genre on YouTube. He did something completely new and he did it well.

    Hi @AdamG, welcome aboard ?
  13. This problem has been fixed, strikes expired as expected now. Due to a technical issue strikes that recently expired are not removed from your account. A YouTube representative said that those expired strikes still count towards your strike count. If you have 1 expired strike that is not removed because of this bug and you receive another one, you will have a total of 2 strikes on your account. YouTube is aware and working on a fix. We'll provide an update here when it has been resolved.
